Living Water
36 x 48 Acrylic 3/18-20/11
In the vision I had before I got to this church, a white horse came to me and kept looking back behind him, I did not understand why he was doing that, then I realized he wanted me to ride him. So I climbed on, and I rode on him to a pool of still waters.
The Lord was there and dipped his hands in and let me drink. He said, "These waters are for refreshing." Then we rode to a raging water fall. The Lord put His hand into the water and said, "These are for healing." He said someone would be healed, when I painted this vision.
There was such horrible warfare on the way to this worship meeting, I almost turned around several times. I was praying in the spirit all the way there. When I got to the church, some of the people there were being very rude to me. Before I came, I was told, over and over, I could paint on the platform, but when I got there they said I would be on the floor. They also made me take the paintings I had brought and put them in my car. I wasn't selling anything, just wanted to share 2 of my other paintings. Something I generally do without any problem every other place I have painted.
Frustrated, I called my spiritual dad, and said I was going home. He encouraged me to stay, saying, "Not all the places you are sent will be fun."

Other artists were set up on the platform, but they did not paint very much at all...while I was faithful to paint the whole time. Seemed so unfair. I had done nothing to cause this rejection.
As I was painting, a woman came down to see my art, she said God had told her if she came and looked at my art up close, she would be healed. Totally humbled, remembering what God said, I wept as I prayed for her.
As I was painting, at one point, I closed my eyes and when I opened them, I saw the Lord's face appear in a rock so I left it in and enhanced it. (I wish I had not enhanced it...but I was so excited) As I did, my spiritual mom texted me and said, "remember, Jesus is the ROCK and you are in the Rock," she had no idea what I was painting.
After I finished the painting, Rick Pino (who as far as I know because of where I was painting did not see what I had painted) got up and started the set on Saturday night. He started by saying we needed to get under the waterfall. Then he spoke about getting in the river and drinking deeply. Then he sang, blessed are the thirsty, and then about the very scripture God gave me to go with the painting, the Spirit and the Bride say come.
As soon as I finished, I began to pack up...still ready to come home, and Rick began singing one of my favorites. It was like God was encouraging me to keep on going. I just began to sob...
Here is the song...Pioneer. Please listen.
Rev. 22:17 The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.
