Bridegroom, King and Judge
I painted this during the Super Bowl ’12…it was not a vision, or anything I sought Him for, but it was my first attempt at doing a small watercolor/gauche painting.
I had seen myself painting with watercolor about a month earlier, so I wanted to give it a try.
I almost quit in the middle…painting with watercolor is very different than what I am used to doing, but I persevered. When I finally stopped and was taken back as I looked into His face...and cried. I truly saw my Savior’s face.
The gold represents His Glory, the Purple…His majesty, the white…purity and the fire red in His eyes, the passion He has for His Bride.
