Queen in His Eyes
Testimony

New quick 8" x 10" painting on canvas board, from an intimate time I had with the Lord.
I had just been rejected by someone I thought I could trust.
I asked someone very dear to me to pray for me, and I heard the cry of my heart...
"Will I ever be good enough?
Will I ever be chosen?"
So I asked Jesus for the answers to the doubts and questions in my heart.
He looked into my eyes and said to me:
“You are good enough for me. So you should be good enough for anyone.”
Then, He grabbed me with both hands, and we began to dance. When we started our dance, I was just a little girl, but when we finished I was all grown up.
I could hear the song we were dancing to, it is called Wallflower, by Laura Woodley Osman. I had heard it before, but never paid attention to all the words, or that it sounded like a waltz you would dance to.
I was wearing a white dress…and He was taking me all over, up, down and spinning me around. When we stopped…I could see us, over to my right. He took a crown out and put it on my head, it was different than a princess’ crown. It was a queen’s crown. I knew it the moment I saw it, I reached up and could feel it on my head.
Then he wrapped this beautiful red velvet cape around my shoulders, and placed a scepter in my hand.
He said to me, “You are my queen, I have chosen you, for such a time as this, just like Esther.” Then He asked me to look into His eyes, when I did, they were like a mirror, and I could see myself reflected in them. I leaned in closer to get a good look at my crown, and really see myself.
Then He spoke to me again and said. “Look into my eyes for your identity, the reflection of who you truly are, not another man’s eyes, because I am the only one that knows you completely. Others do not have eyes to see you for who you are, a true Queen. The one that I have for you will have eyes to see you as you truly are.”
Then He helped me learn to walk and talk and present myself as a queen. He told me to hold my head high, and lift my chin. I had a hard time walking in the new shoes…but He held my hand and helped me.
When the vision ended, I wanted to listen to the song and
I was amazed by the words.

♥ Wallflower ♥
See the pieces there
Someone spilled me out
It’s a longing stare
Running from these doubts
Open me up again
Like the skies of rain
Oh how I need you friend
And the way that you say
Wallflower come dance with me
Left over you’re just what I need
Broken one you’ll be the queen of my heart
It was April month
When words came right down
Shooting stars touch
My place in the crowd
Hoping for love again
Done with days of tears
Learning to trust again
Your words in my ear
Wallflower come dance with me
Left over you’re just what I need
Broken one you’ll be the queen of my heart
I’ll marry you true and proper, in love and tenderness.
Yes, I’ll marry you and neither leave you nor let you go.
You’ll know me, God, for who I really am.
